Converse are a model of shoe that have been around for a long time, orignally used as a sports shoes such as basketball and boxing. However this has all changed with celebrities being spotted in them, more famous faces such as Elvis wore them, and overall they have become a more commersial shoe.
The model of the converse has been changed by many high street shops, were personally i think are terrible copies and put shame to the real model of the shoe! I feel if your going to get converse you have to get the actual model none of those silly remakes from high street shops.
Over the years Converse have changed as they have developed more of a collection from reds,golds, and yellows, all the way to sequin and animal print. Certainly moved on from the traditional colours of black and all white. As modelled by Elvis he is showing off the white converse in a black body track suit which works well as the shoes are working against the main outfit at the same time to working with the outfit .
The converse has got two main models the boots and the shoes ... boots are much more 'in' today although the shoes still do work with many outfits. The boots can work with either shorts or with trousers although mixing it with a dress of skirt would be crossing the line of being a bit risky.
This image works with the converse very nicely with the shorts along with the blazer the look is one to get ideas from. A simple t-shirt underneath the blazer helps draw attention to the bottom section of your body.
What i like about this outfit is normally i would not like the outfit, but the converse is what make the outfit acceptable to my eye. The typography t-shirt with the knitwear and snood, with what looks like trackies works well in not only a great combination of tone but also create a rough chick look, not in fashion at the moment but you could take some ideas with how the converse work well being adapted into this outfit.
