H&M have two brand new collections that have come out today.
Firstly the 'red carpet collection' which includes dresses in the price range which would normal slightly exceed the average price for a dress in the normal collection that the company normally stocks, or any other model of clothing.
Then the second collection is the 'conscious collection' which includes items that are trying to promote a sustainable fashion future, which is trying to promote to other companies to do the same, I funnily enough bought something today out of that collection knowing nothing about it.
First of all the red carpet collection holds a range of dresses which are obviously designed to be modelled and worn on the catwalk, they have made this collection to obviously widen there audience as not just any old high street brand, they want more promotion. And with promotion already in the latest addition of Vogue, they are going the right way about it advertising a cascading ruffled floor length dress.
Overall though i have to say after looking at the collection i am rather disappointed, as the designing of it may fit into styles which are in this s/s but i just don't think it works, they can produce nicer products than what they have produced with this, it is unfortunaly a collection which i would not recommend, although they do have a few nice pieces that are shown below.
The second new collection out is the eco-friendly collection promoting a sustainable future for fashion excluding any unfair labour, and trying to promote this.
On the women collection i thing they have some really nice pieces of clothing which are worth having a look at, from dresses to blazer and they are all at bur gain prices. There are some lovely prints to be shown in that collection.
The mens collection is average i bought a nice shirt from there today, although i do think some of the products are a bit shapeless, overall though they have some nice products which are worthy of being looked at by you!
Both of these collection are part of the conscious collection, being brought in for a more eco-friendly fashion planet.
I would like to praise H&M for doing this collection andy hope to see, as i hope you all do to other shops doing this in the future, so our world can be more eco-friendly. The New COLLECTION
