Purple Rain

Purple, the colour of wealth, the colour that only a minority could get away with wearing. However this  A/W we are seeing it making it mark against the defined waste trend, as well as the country style trend.
It is normally a colour that I do not respect as i believe as it acts as a ghost colour, and i believe it brings out the bad shapes to the body, as even though it is a dark colour it does not flatter your body as you may think. Also the obsession with wanting to add silver and gold to it puts me off the colour as well, as you could just ending up like you were a christmas tree.
The colour is back though and yes that is from head to toe purple. Makeup to go with purple will have to be smoky and dark, eyes are what we need to be drawing attention to, although wearing red lipstick could distract from the colour of purple.

Accessorising with the purple is important as well, around the neck, with the ears also and round your wrists.
Don't go over the top with the purple though, because we have to remember this colour goes back a long way to belonging on the upper class. We would not want to ruin the reputation of the colour would we.
