Wearing contrasting socks

I think it has got to the stage in the fashion calendar, where we should not really be wearing socks, however living in an unpredictable June/early July in the UK, we could at least make up for covering those feat in socks. One of most hidden pieces of clothing, however one piece of clothing which can change a outfit in many different way is the sock, and to make up for covering your feet from that we can at least get the contrast of all the tones of colours right.
If you are wearing dark bottoms what you can do to improve the contrast between the two is add a bright colour to your feat... or maybe not i should say bright however just light. I feel having lighter shades on the socks can help to draw attention away from how dark your outfit maybe is, and it could also draw attention to your shoes! So make sure that you have your best ones on. That is another point that you need to work with.... the shoes that you are wearing and how they too work with the shoes. If you choose light shades of brown then a dark green or wine coloured shoe would be best to even out the colour complexion.
Whereas if you were wearing lighter shades of trousers then it would matter what you were wearing on your top as well. With light shades of trousers you are tend to go and wear some darker socks. Now however well this may work i do think that maybe we could see in the future bright on bright, maybe even the same if not a lighter shade to the colour of what trousers you are wearing.
When wearing socks it does help also if you take a colour from the top half of your body and then adapting it, and extended that colour through your outfit by adding it to your sock collection. I feel that I can't help seeing dark socks sometimes being a bit too depressing and does not show us a blank canvas, black only makes your shoes look not as good as what they could look like.
