Oversized Bags

Over sized handbags have recently been toped off to be the big thing this A/W13, and it is not too late to get yours. It has always been the norm to have a small compatible, practically sized handbag that has all the room you need for your essentials, but at the same time does not hide half of your outfit.
Personally I MUCH prefer big hand bags as I feel they are appreciated more, as more of the detail on the bag, the texture of the bag, and the print on the bag is noticed more. I feel that maybe with a smaller bag you are paying for a piece that is only going to catch the eyes very rarely compared to if you were carrying a oversized bad, that would probably be seen a lot more.
The texture of the bag plays a hug part this A/W13 to setting you off with looking the part. If you are wearing dark colours, blacks with bursts of colour, I feel a red swede/leather bag would go lovely with the over all outfit.
To be honest I feel you could live all A/W13 with two oversized bags, as having two bags made up of simple colours could easily be mixed with a range of outfits. I personally love the oversized bags as I have also been attracted to the look of people going travelling . And I feel the look of the oversized bags sends that message across that I love of a fashionable busy person.
The other pros to having the huge bag on either side of your body is it draws more attention to the length of your outfit, so people are more in titled to  look up and down at the outfit as the bag is dominating, and you feel intrigued to see underneath the bag that the person is carrying. The contrast between the length of the body and the width of the bag creates an interesting comparison, and evens out the amount the eye looks at the body.
