Collars In For A/W 12

I know this could of helped at the start of the Autumn period but I still think this could help you in the later stages of winter.
When looking over again at catwalk photos I was noticing that in most of the items of clothing work, collars were a huge aspect to each piece, the tailored colour being the favourite in each coat that was modelled.
As the temperature gets milder, it is harder to know what to wear. Is it a coat you wear or the jacket? However you can get some very nice pieces that are jackets, for a high street price that are including the collar.
I feel that in this stage in the climate change in between seasons we need to focus on a one piece thin material jacket, preferably waterproof, as it should be forecast to rain a bit more.
Zara, Thrilled level jacket , £155
You need to find a jacket that does not seem unflattering on your body, but it slims the body, I would stick to a dull colour scheme staying with the black jacket, leather maybe with some short fur on the collar also maybe.
I have never been a huge fan of leather black jackets although below is a nice one that I found. I would not recommend wearing a side zipped jacket, as I feel they wrap around the skin creating a terrible shape to the body, they look awkward and uncomfortable also.
Cole Hann, £287.13, Notch Collar Lambskin
Leather

Both these jackets are
slimming, and both show the weight in a non-threatening style. The colour for both leads you to the facial features, and both A line the body. The materials on both however are not two thick but are water resistant and will not make you too hot when you mis judge the temperature one day.
